What are gemstone elixirs?

I first became interested in gemstone elixirs while I was studying gemstone energy medicine in the late ‘90s with Gemisphere in Portland, Oregon (gemisphere.com). I was particularly drawn to this organization by a book, Gifts of the Gemstone Guardians, by Ginny and Michael Katz. A group of inter-dimensional beings, the Gemstone Guardians, were the source of channeled information through Ginny Katz. She took a series of inner journeys for this experience. I embraced this information. It felt true and exciting to me in a way that no other information on gemstone healing had. While there are other forms of gemstone energy healing that are entirely useful and workable, this is the modality that really appealed to me.

Through the information in Gifts of the Gemstone Guardians, Gemisphere, became a top maker and purveyor of healing necklaces. They developed educational programs to promote the sale of their necklaces, both to healing practitioners and to all people who want to experience healing and transformation on the physical, mental, psychological, and spiritual levels through gemstones. I loved that the key gemstone technology was based on the sphere, the bead, and how this made the gemstone more focused on human beings rather than on the Earth, which the raw form does. I totally got how the beads, the spheres, processed the energy of the human being like the sun, taking it in through their smooth round surfaces, altering the energy with their own very stable energy matrix, and then radiating that energy back out into the wearer. It made sense to me that gemstones that had been shaped into spheres by human beings would focus their attention on the energy of human beings.

While I attended week-long trainings and studied this information, I experimented with a variety of gemstone necklaces. I experienced tangible effects, and over time realized the more consistent and subtle impacts of working with gemstone energy this way. Stones have a consistent, perfect repeating atomic structure. They contain and transmit this structure, and process surrounding energy through it. We are always experiencing this interaction with gemstone deposits in the planet because we are literally made of the physical constituents of the Earth. To use this energy in a focused way, with gemstones that are rounded and programmed to the human energy field, offers the body, mind, and spirit a stable energy to entrain with, and this promotes balance and healing at our most subtle levels.

The cost of healing quality necklaces is very high. I found myself wondering why, if this gemstone energy healing method of rounded forms was being released into the world to help humanity with healing and transformation, why was it so financially out of reach for most people?

I was already reading the Akashic Records and communicating with Angels and Guides at this time, so I opened up to communicating with the Gemstone Guardians. They were, and are, a great resource of information and encouragement. They suggested that making gemstone elixirs from their healing quality spherical forms would open a whole new world of healing and transformation. I had already begun working with Machaelle Small Wright’s Perelandra Flower Essences. This opened up a great resource of energy communication with Devas and Nature Spirits, in focused consciousness, as a new way to work with energy healing. The flower essences work their healing magic on the human electrical system. Their ethereal quality is a perfect complement to the solidity of the stones. Making formulas from flower essences and gemstone elixirs is a potent mix of energy medicine.

I proceeded to make a set of gemstone elixirs from exquisite healing quality spheres. This is a wonderful way for a few beautiful emeralds to offer their healing energy to thousands of people in a very cost effective way. It is also the way to have a renewable resource of a very large selection of gemstone energies available.

I specialize in things like making personalized evolutionary formulas from my gemstone elixirs and Perelandra Flower Essences. Connecting into your energy and Akashic Records, in person or at a distance, the current gemstone and flower essences are chosen through intuitive testing and are placed into a glass bottle with purified water. This is also done for space clearing sprays, a favorite among energy healing practitioners between clients, as well as for any home environment. After the selections for the formulas have been made, we find out what gemstone elixirs and flower essences have been chosen. Working in this rather reverse order, we allow nature and spirit, engaged with our body, mind, and soul, to reveal what we need to heal and evolve. This is something the rational mind just does not know how to do.

Making the Mother Gemstone Elixir

I have a selection of gemstones that are specifically for making elixirs. I make the elixirs when I feel a strong need to do so. This is how I can tell it is the correct time. Some makers suggest reading the moon times, seasons, and so forth, and I think it is interesting to see how these coincide, and they do, with the intuitive message to make the elixirs.

It is essential to have a beautiful sunshiney day. The surroundings need to be peaceful and quiet. I actually use glass canning jars to make the elixirs. I thought I would need something more exotic, but the Soul level team in this endeavor assured me this was not true. The team of guides, guardians, devas and nature spirits, all those beautiful beings I have learned to work with over the years, have taught me how to listen to them, to pay attention to their guidance, because they know the things I do not know, and together, we can make magic.

The jars and lids are washed and dried. I wash the stones in gentle soapy water. I place the gemstones on a large square of silk chiffon and tie them securely inside before washing them in gentle soapy water, then rinsing. I place the stones in a separate jar for each elixir, and then half fill the jars with water that has been purified by reverse osmosis. I take the jars outside on a tray, and place them on a table in the sun in the flower filled garden. I cover them with a thin layer of silk chiffon to protect the forming elixir from picking up any blowing dust or dirt, still allowing the sunlight to penetrate. There are prayers and blessings and the gathering and focusing of my Soul level team. When the morning sun has ended, I take the tray to the other side of the house, also surrounded by luscious blooming gardens, and continue with the sun exposure. I check occasionally to see if any are “done” yet. I test with my pendulum if it feels like the time is near. When they are ready, and this is usually after a good day–long sun exposure, I bring the tray inside and let it sit overnight in the dark. I leave the gemstones in the elixir until I am ready to harvest the mother elixir and store it.

Without touching the elixir, I pour it into another clean jar, being careful to keep the gemstones back. In the new jar beams the new mother elixir. It is powerful and clear. I pour in organic vodka as a preservative, about between 1/3 to ½ of the jar. I place a clean, never before used lid on the jar, label the top of the lid with the name of the gemstone and the date, and store in a clean, dry, dark closet.

For use, I have ½ ounce dropper bottles filled with the mother elixir. I use drops of the mother elixir in making formulas. I use violet glass for formulas because of its great capacity to contain energy that is vulnerable to light. This glass is beautiful and reusable.

For practitioners, or anyone who wants to work with making formulas, the process is very straightforward. While I usually have about 40 mother elixirs that I select from, as well as the full set of Perelandra essences, there are several ways to group the elixirs, such as Chakra Sets, Physical Healing Sets, Emotional Healing Sets, Mental Healing, an so forth.

I have been working with these elixirs and essences for over 12 years now and find them to be wonderful tools for healing, growth, and transformation. They are a wonderful way to ground and evolve following profound events like Soul Clearing,
